- Brachypteryx hyperythra
Identification
Orange-chestnut plumage on its belly extending up to the throat. The rest of the plumage is a very dark blue, conspicuous short, white eyebrow. The pale bill turns black when the male is breeding. The female is slaty-brown above, dark brown face, pale rufous throat, and pale belly. Long, pink legs.
