Broad, indistinct grey supercilium, short, rather stubby bill and an orange-rufous patch on the throat.
Distribution
Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
Taxonomy
Belongs to the Furnariidae family. Berlepsch, 1906.
Habitat
Arid scrub and dry woodland.
Behaviour
It forages on the ground and the diet includes ants, beetles and other types of insects.
