Dicaeum dayakorum

Identification

All grey and white.

Distribution

Northeastern Borneo (Danum Valley, Sabah, Malaysia; Brunei; Kalimantan, Indonesia).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

This is a newly described species (2019).

Habitat

Assumed to belong to lowlands and probably mostly occurring in forest canopy.

Behaviour

May be closely connected with Viscum mistletoe, but some evidence for other berries and invertebrates eaten as well.
