Distribution
Myanmar, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
Taxonomy
Pale-eyed Bulbul was formerly included in Stripe-throated Bulbul.
Subspecies
Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:
- Pycnonotus f. eous: South east Myanmar to south west China (southern Yunnan), Thailand and southern Indochina
- Pycnonotus f. finlaysoni: Malay Peninsula (south Myanmar and Isthmus of Kra to Malacca)
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and montanes.
