Eastern Africa: found in Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique
Southern Africa: Zimbabwe

- Eastern Tanzania (Udzungwa Mountains)
- S. s. swynnertoni:
- Mountains of eastern Zimbabwe and western Mozambique
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and montanes.
Behaviour
The clutch consists of 2 eggs.
