Juvenile

• Olive-brown upperparts
• Paler underparts
• Hint of breast-band

Distribution

Africa
Western Africa: occurs only in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Eastern Africa: Kenya and Uganda

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies^[1]:

• E. t. kalindei:

• East-central DRC and extreme south-western Uganda (Nyondo Forest)

• E. t. turneri:

• Western Kenya (Mount Elgon, Kakamega Forest and southern Nandi Hills)

Habitat

Moist lowland and montane forests .
