Eastern Africa: Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Zambia

Taxonomy

Subspecies^[1]

There are 3 subspecies:

• C. l. lateralis:

• Senegambia to Nigeria and Cameroon

• C. l. antinorii:

• Central African Republic to western Kenya

• C. l. modestus:

• Gabon to northern Angola and southern Zaire

Habitat

Dry forests, dry savanna, and moist savanna.
