Distribution

South America: South East Colombia, Ecuador, north-eastern Peru and central Amazonian Brazil.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Moist lowland forest.

Behaviour

Diet

The diet consists mostly of seeds.
