Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Uganda.
Taxonomy
Two subspecies accepted:
- C. r. roberti
- C. r. rufescentior
Has been placed in the genus Cossypha in the past.
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and montanes.
