Identification
Distribution
Eastern Africa: found in the mountains of eastern Tanzania, Zambia, south-central Mozambique and northern Malawi.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Formerly placed in genus Alethe and in Pseudalethe by Clements. However, Chamaetylas has priority over Pseudalethe.

Moist lowland forest.
