Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Oak forests, fruit plantations, desert wadis, gardens, city parks.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of a wide variety of both wild and cultivated fruit with the addition of some seeds and invertebrates. They also occasionally eat nectar, flowers and leaves.
Breeding
They build a small cup nest formed from thin twigs, grass, leaves and moss, lined with hair. It is placed in a bush.
