Distribution
South America: found in coastal northern Venezuela and a few islands north of Venezuela like Bonaire of the Netherlands Antilles.

Habitat
Dry cactus scrubland and thornbush.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of fruits, seeds, and cactus flowers.
Breeding
They nest in a hole in a tree, cactus or on a cliff. Their clutch consists of 1-6 eggs.
