Warranty Turn-around time (1 Viewer)

I never send everything back when having to return an item which I expect to have repaired or replaced. For exactly this reason. I figure if they just send me a sealed box, that's the mfg/vendor's problem. I ship the faulty item in proper packaging and nothing else.

Well done you ; however Veracocha, I trust that Ace Optics or Swarovski Optic can rectify this for you to supply you with a case. Try giving Peter Antonio a ring tomorrow and explain the situation.
Cheers.

I will see what Swarovski's response is to the email I sent yesterday. I hadn't given it much thought as I won't use a case but when I see they cost £50 I felt a bit short-changed. I'll report back when they respond. The chap at Ace felt a bit awkward when he explained the case wasn't included in the replacement pair due to the change in format of the packaging.

What I meant to say is that in the future, it looks like they (Swarovski) now want you to buy a case if you need one. You post regarding the cheap bag is a surprise to me too.
Yes, the ELs are now well and truly being marketed as Swarovski's 'second tier' binoculars - first a downgraded close focus and now the case offered as an 'optional extra' - essentially a not insignificant price increase by stealth!

Less than three weeks from new my EL 10 x 42's have developed a fault on their first outing; the dioptre wheel will will not lock into place. The brilliant Ace Optics have arranged collection from my home on Monday (within an hour of emailing them) but what is the expected turn-around time if they go back to Swarovski? I wouldn't want to replace them as the optics are on another level. Ace said they would have offered me a new pair but just no stock at all!
Depends on who you talk to at Swarovski

I’ve seen folks complain enough that they can get a turn around time of less than two weeks. During the fall I’ve seen wait times of 1-2 months, less in the spring time
