Hello,

I have seen this bird a few times in my back yard. It looks similar to the tri-color herons I get but its legs are stubbier.

We have a lot of these in the salt marshes up here, Massachusetts, I'm sure there are even more in Florida. Cool bird! I like the Green and also Black and Yellow-crowned Night Herons, very exotic-looking birds.
