I made the attached recording February 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. while birding adjacent to the Lake Adger marshes in Polk County, NC, USA. The sound came from the marsh; I was unable to get a visual. Can anyone give a positive ID? Merlin offers no suggestion. My thoughts are Tufted Titmouse, Blue Jay, European Starling, Common Grackle. Or perhaps the sound was not made by a bird? Thank you. ~ Keith
