Courses/Study plans for the identification of Austral/Southern Africa birds (4 Viewers)

Hi,

I want to expand my knowledge of bird identification for African birds. I'm particularly interested in the birds of Angola which, to my knowledge, is a country that both encompasses birds from Austral and Southern Africa.

I've been visiting somewhat frequently there but I was wondering if there are any courses/study plans that I could employ while away from the field. Bonus points if such courses are accredited,

Also interested to a similar degree for such courses on birds from the Western Palearctic, you can never know too much,

Thanks for the suggestion but e-bird quizzes are severely lacking for countries with little to no e-bird data.

The database can't really tell how common each bird is for that country and local quizzes include species that only occur miles and miles away from the specified location.

Not sure if I've ever heard of an accredited course for bird identification for any country.

It really doesn't have to be accredited though, really just looking for a helpful way to better learn
