When to denoise? (1 Viewer)

I just got Topaz DeNoise as a plug-in for lightroom. I've mostly been using it to process some old jpegs from point and shoots.

My question is when would you use the Denoise option for processing a raw file?
Would you run denoise before you adjust the raw file or as the last step before publishing? Or maybe after basic adjustment but before sharpening?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
