    Dutch bird making funny noises

    Sound very much like a song thrush to me, opening phrase of full song repeated instead of letting out the full range, if you listen to segments of a song thrushes full song the same destinct phrases can be heard with the same clarity of voice and intonation. (maybe the trush had a stutter).

    hi Nutsie, try the 'collins' bird songs cds and book by Geoff Sample, (I found it on Amazon, cheaper than RSPB shop), great to use as a guide, and also for 'chillin'' out to , I often use it to get to sleep when working nights!
