    Seedsnipe, today, Puerto Natales, Chile.

I'm leaning towards Least based on small size (no comparison though) and dull yellow legs. I'm not sure about the pattern on the throat. Thanks!

Prion, today, North of the Falkland Islands

This prion caught my attention at sea because it didn't seem to have strong face pattern. The amount of black on tail looks decent. I'm thinking Fairy prion but I don't have experience with this species. Apology for photo quality. Photos were taken today on the way to Falklands.

Two different cinclodes, Ushuaia, Argentina, this week.

Both seem to have white wing bends. Not confident to tell bill sizes and flank colors. Leaning towards Grey-flanked. Thanks!

    Passerine, Santiago, Chile, Oct-20-2022

The best I could think of is female Gray-hooded Sierra Finch with the pale malar stripes, however, it seems to have too much yellow. Thanks!

Martin/swallow, Buenos Aires (city), Argentina, Dec-21-2022

Photos 1 and 2 are the same bird; 3, 4, 5 are another one. I'm wondering if the first one is Southern Rough-winged Swallow or one of the martins, Gray-breasted/Brown-chested. The second bird looks like a martin to me but hard to tell which one from this angle. Thanks! :)

Here is the information of this bird. Any help appreciated: "One from the archives: This bird was photographed in Bonavista, Newfoundland in August of 1995. It was thought to be a Eurasian variety of Kite (i.e. Red or Black Kite) at that time but was never conclusively identified. Any thoughts...

Juvenile Baird's sandpiper? Cape Race, NL, Canada, 09-23-2018

ID confirmation, please. It's a long winged sandpiper, so, either Baird's or White-rumped. I seem to see dark rump from the blurry preening photos. Thanks!

    Age Greater Yellowlegs, Newfoundland, Canada

No question about ID but age. Birds in the first two photos look juvenile to me. I believe the 3rd and 4th photos are the same bird, which seems to be a molting adult. I think I'm ok with adult basis plumage. My problem is to tell the difference between juvenile and breeding adult scapulars...

Taiga/Red-breasted Flycatcher, Shenyang, Liaoning, China, May-12-2018.

My field guide is out of date and I previously identified it as Taiga. Based on the orange area, I'd say it's a Red-breasted Flycatcher. Confirmation appreciated. I found two checklists for the province of Liaoning. eBird only listed Taiga (https://ebird.org/barchart?r=CN-21&yr=all&m=) while...

    Great Egret, Beijing, China, June-07-2018

I need confirmation that this is a Great Egret in breeding plumage. I don't think North American Great Egret has all dark bill in breeding season but it seems the case for Chinese one, according to my field guide and app. Thanks! |=)|

https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S45924159 There are 3 recordings listsed under "Bird sp." in the bottom of the page. Recording #1: I believe 3 birds were singing/calling. The first bird was singing at 2-3 sec and 13-14 sec; the second bird, calling loudly at 6-7, 8-9 and 10-11 sec, was the...
