    Perfect bins... Has to be Leica Trinovid (original Trins) 8x32BN Why? Build quality Optics Handling Size and weight Price - non of your daft £1000-plus price tags All these factors score v high in my opinion, making this easily the best bino ever produced.

    Thanks Jack and Jim - some great info there. Trying to find the Peterson guide on UK amazon site to no avail. I may just go for it and get the Howell and Webb, but I do love the Peterson guide feel.
