    Longtailed Tits on feeders

    Daily I get a flock of about 10 evry day - always around 3pm. They only seem to use 1 particular Peanut feeder and ignore the other food and feeders. Bob

    Birds suddenly eating more..

    Hi Matt, Yes I have noticed it - filling 3 peanut feeders every other day. They have caught us a bit unawares as we are waiting for our wholefood delivery so no sunflower hearts till next week. By the way I have found that it is much cheaper for us to buy sacks of peanuts and sunflower hearts...

    Coolpix 950

    Making own Bird Food

    Hi Oceans, I use a similar method to Jason but with Vegetable fat - it works fine. If the mixture is too runny I add some rolled oats to dry it up. Bob

    coolpix 950

    Is anyone using a Coolpix 950 for their digiscoping ?. I intend to use one with an Opticron 75mm Classic IF-2 with the Opticron HR2 eyepiece. If anyone is using a similar set-up I would be grateful for any advice re Camera settings etc. Bob
