    Taken this lunchtime at my work. We have a large storm pond at the front and it has a family of coots (6 babies, was 8) and mallard mother and 11 grown up chicks. The male coot keeps chasing the mallards! Sorry about reduced size - hope the compression isn't too great - quick post before bed...

    Had a barbecue on Saturday which meant the regulars wouldn't visit the feeders. This male Greenfinch eyed us from the fence as we ate our burgers. Managed to go into the house and get the camera as he posed!

    Nice shot - is it black and white though - on my monitor and laptop seems to have a reddish cast - is it a duotone image using a warm red and black? There again I have just calibrated my monitor for photoshop so maybe I've done it wrong (again!)
