    Flycatcher in Texas

    I saw this bird in the Hill Country of Texas this weekend. It has been suggested that it is a Gray Flycatcher. I think that there are some issues with that ID, the tail seems short, the bill is dark and short.

    Glossy vs White-faced Ibis

    Glossy vs White-faced Ibis Texas I took these pictures this past weekend in a park just off the coast in South East Texas at San Bernard NWR. The first 3 pictures are of a bird that I think is a Glossy Ibis. The fourth is a White-faced I think. Help would be appreciated.

    Pippets south Texas?

    There were a number of these birds in the plowed fields that I was looking in for Mountain Plovers. There were a number of Horned Larks also seen there. If these are Spragues Pippets, I was expecting to find them in grass fields.

    Colorado Bird August

    I went to Telluride Colorado in August and was taking a picture of this Spotted Sandpiper and found this other bird in the picture when I was processing it. I never noticed the second bird until now. Any ideas?
