    USA - Hawk ID from Texas

    Hey everyone, I saw this hawk today at a heron rookery right outside downtown Dallas and can't figure it out. I would like to think it is a Broad-winged, because I've never seen one before, but I fear it is yet another Red-tailed. Please help if you can. Thank you!

    I saw several hawks in north central texas (Lake Lewisville) and I am not sure if they are the same species. Any help would be appreciated!

    Unknown Egret in Texas

    I saw this egret that looks like a hybrid...maybe? He or she looks to be a cross between a Great Egret and a Cattle Egret. My field guide does not mention the Great Egret having colored plumes on his back so I have to wonder. Does anyone have any information about this? Please let me know!

    Four North Central Texas Birds

    Hey everyone, My girlfriend and I saw these at the Village Creek Drying Beds today in Arlington, TX. I'm positive that one is a tanager, but unsure about which kind. The others are a mystery to me. Please help soon. I appreciate all of you and the great IDs.

    Heron ID in Texas Please Help

    Hey everyone, My girlfriend and I saw this heron at Bob Woodruff Park in Plano, tx this morning. At first we thought he was a Tricolored, but now we are pretty convinced he is a Great Blue. I got a lucky shot of him flying by, so I hope that will help. Thanks for your help.

    Texas Sparrow Help

    Two more ... North Central Texas

    I'm feeling self-conscious about posting so many birds on this forum, so please tell me if I am abusing it or not. I found these two from the same trip to Lake Tawakoni in mid-April. I think they might be a Greater Yellowlegs and some type of falcon. Thank you for all of your help.

    Texas - Rare Find if my ID is Correct!
