    Wood Peewee ? Southern Ontario

    My guess is a juvenile Wood Peewee but none of my books show the eye colour this bird has. Red/dark brown. Other suspects would include gt. crested flycatcher and phoebe also seen in this garden. Thanks Robin

    Osprey mating/ eggs

    Anybody know how soon after mating you could expect the female to lay and remain on her eggs ? I can observe a nest from my deck (in Southern Ontario) with my Kowa scope. The pair arrived within a day of each other on Saturday. They may have come together, I don't know...
