Yes, Sergio, both Anthus pratensis (and apologies for the unpleasantries) - thank you for posting your images 🙂

Seriously, you seem determined to misinterpret my posts! ‘Maybe’ as in maybe I CAN SEE IT but wasn’t sure whether I was looking at vegetation! Not ’maybe you can’. How do I know what you can see or are referring to ?🙄 I think we are done here. Have a lovely day 🙂

I’ll add, since my post was directed at a ‘Mr Mitchell’ in the first place, it’s rather odd - A member that joined in 2007 but has never made a post on Birdforum, suddenly appears out of nowhere!?

I only quoted your post because it was relevant to what I wanted to say - my post was in response to the member confirming your ID when both ID this the same! - when someone gives a ‘like’ on an ID post (ignoring the original answer, it usually means they prefer the second ID as in this case)...

? My comment wasnt a/ directed at you particularly and b/ wasnt disputing anything but another member confirmed your ID rather than mine so I just clarified my first post in case it wasnt understood. It’s not a big deal.

I am not disputing the ID! (Major Mitchell? 😉) - as I said, I also thought they are both Meadow Pipits

I can’t see any hind claws though - maybe just on the second image if it’s not vegetation but perhaps I need a bigger screen view

#1 could be a Tree Pipit but the face pattern and flank streaking looks perhaps better for Meadow imo. #2 Looks like a Meadow Pipit to me
