    Sorry to revive this but how do we eliminate Common (African) Reed Warbler? The legs seem brownish, not black.

    Thanks. I posted in a few other forums and it is unanimous vote for Lesser Swamp Warbler.

    Here is a bird I have provisionally identified as a Greater Swamp Warbler (A. rufescens), but the rusty flanks, short tail, and eye pattern bother me and I wonder if it could be a Lesser Swamp Warbler (A. gracilirostris).
