Brewer's or Clay-colored sparrow? - So. Cal. (1 Viewer)

I saw this bird today near Los Angeles. Is this a Brewer's or a clay-colored sparrow?

I thought it might be clay-colored because of it's clean gray nape although it didn't seem to have a crown stripe and it's facial features were light, but I wasn't sure if clay-colored sparrows are lighter in the winter.
