Blyth's reed or Caspian reed warbler , west Kazakhstan 19/04/2020 .

Dear All

Please let me have also thoughts on this bird also . Found at the same location as the previous birds in first thread . It looks Caspian reed but still not much convinced on PP length .

As in the other thread it looks like a Paddyfield Warbler - with an admittedly rather short supercilium...

agree on paddyfield warbler. the dark crown contrasting with the pale supercillium is a good pointer.

I think all these birds are Paddyfield, Bassel. By the way, Blyth's Reed doesn't really frequent reedbeds despite its name.
