night herons in KK (1 Viewer)

hi all,

a friend of mine is going to KK in March and he's never seen a night heron before but is quite anxious to. Can anyone give me some directions for any of the colonies in the city (both black-crowned and nankeen). I understand there's one in the KK bird sanctuary/wetland centre, and another in/near the park where the blue-naped parrots are. Specific directions to either of these would be good (eg, where in the sanctuary the colony is), or any other colonies that would be easy for him to access.

Thanks muchly
