Where'd you go, stay put!
United States
I've been using a little Canon point and shoot to demo the DCA on the Swarovski ATM 80 at our shop. Now that the ATX system is out I'd like to get a camera to demo the TLS APO adapter. Any favorites in the, say, $500 range? Or should I think about spending a bit more?
Thanks in advance for any help.

thanks

I went for the V1 for $350 at B and H for no other reason than the good price. Best Buy still lists them at $899. It will be here on Thursday. Between this and football, my wife isn't going to see much of me this weekend. Well, she's a pretty devout Ravens fan so we'll have those 4 hrs together at least.

Got my V1 with 10-30mm lens from a Hong Kong e-bay vendor (or may be Taiwanse vendor) at US$314.50 with free shipping to Singapore in early Dec 2012. During the same period, B&H offer the same thing at $299 but they could not ship to Singapore.

I really like this Nikon V1. While not any good at digiscoping yet, it is very impressive otherwise. Very happy, no regrets.
