Mike King aka The Gloster Birder, Keeping Gloster
Our County Recorder received this description, no photo unfortunately, and sent it on to me.
We can usually attempt an i/d of birds sent to him or The Gloster Birder. It often goes, "It's a Sparrowhawk" or "It's a Jay", however in this case we don't have a clue.

Here is the description:

"The bird was about the size of a sparrow. The bird was primarily a light honey coloured cream except the eye area was brown. It had a finch like brown beak, pink legs and looking from behind it had a distinctly yellow rump which extended as a short strip up its lower back. The wing covers were a mixture of browns mainly at the tips. I was attracted by its song which was a melodious bubbling song repeated several times while perched."

Any ideas welcome, thanks in advance.
