Help!, lensadapter for sony alpha 200 (1 Viewer)

Hi, I can get a lens; Sigma 170-500 f5-6.3 APO Canon mount.
Length: 260 (@170) to 345 mm (@500)
Lens opening: 86 mm.
But I have a sony alpha 200. Does anyone know whether there is an adapter for this lens so it fits on my Sony?

I'm sure there's a way (probably involving removal of the canon mount and cannabilising a minolta/sony mount to attach). Can't recall an adaptor though. Try here www.dyxum.com if anyone knows it'll be here....
