Week on the Silver Thread (1 Viewer)

So last week my brother and I ventured up to the Silver Thread Highway in Colorado, USA (Hwy 149 between South Fork and Creede) and I decided to try and make a list of what I saw. No particular order, though I will say my species count increased dramatically while kayaking the Rio Grande river! Just didn't have a camera with me.

Broad-Tailed Hummingbird (male and female)
Rufous Hummingbird (male and female)
American Robin
Pine Siskin
Mountain Bluebird (Male and Female)
Western Bluebird (Male, Female, and Juveniles)
Black-Billed Magpie
Stellar Jay
Red-Breasted Merganser (Female and Juveniles)*
Canadian Geese (possible family, though the juveniles were already in their adult plumage)
Golden Eagle (circled us while we were in our kayaks until it got bored and headed back to the mountains)
American Dipper
Clark's Nutcracker*
Cordilleran Flycatcher*
Brewer's Blackbird
Red-Winged Blackbird
Common Raven
Tree Swallow
Barn Swallow
House Sparrow (male and female)
Green-Tailed Towhee (pair)
Swainson's Hawk
Red-Tailed Hawk
Mississippi Kite (Western Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle)

I have a few others that I saw but couldn't ID. I'll have to find those and try to track down the ID's! I've probably missed a few and will edit if I remember anything! Thanks for reading!
