Bird Table enquiry. (1 Viewer)

Dear Members,

I am relatively new to this forum, (actually I joined 5 minutes ago) so hello to you all.

I have a rather weathered looking bird table which is in need of restoration and I need your help / advice.

Can I use wood preservative such as Ronseal or Cuprinol (as I would use on a fence) on the bird table? Or should I use a certain type of paint? I ask this because I don't want to end up poisoning any birds that eat or drink on the table.

Your help and advice would be gratefully received.

Best Regards,
