A couple of ID queries from near Anchorage, Alaska (1 Viewer)

I think the first photo is of Scaups, but if they are don't know whether they're Lesser or Greater - or have I been looking at the wrong duck entirely? I note that one has a green head.

The second looks like a Merganser perhaps? Both photos taken in the last week.

Think at least the one with the green head is a greater scaup; not sure about the male on the far left. Agree the others are lesser.
 
Four Lesser Scaup and one Greater in the first photo. The shape of the nail on the bill of the leftmost male makes it a Lesser.
