A Question about Birdbaths. (1 Viewer)

Greetings, birders! I have a question for you. What kind of household items have you used as a birdbath? I'm disabled & it's difficult for me to get to a
birding store. Thanks for any info you can give me!|=)|

I have a regular dinner plate with slightly raised sides that I bought specifically to use as a bird bath for the ground-loving birds. Not sure how it will fare through the winter but it's seen a few sub-zero nights through ok so far.

We use a saucer type dish, approx 12" diameter and one inch deep whose rightful place is underneath a large flowerpot.

I second this one, we have the same on an upturned old flower container and the little birds seem to love this rather than the bigger bird baths which can sometimes be a bit deep for them.

We use flower pot saucers with a few flat stones so birds can pick their water depth.

Place near bushy cover for protection
