If in doubt check the hindwing. Striking white on Turnip, fuscus on H&C. Shape and size are useful and on yours the unmarked pale fringe to the wing is a good pointer.

These aren't normally a problem but in photos it can get confusing. There is a H&C on the Hants Moths page that is a dead-ringer for one of the Turnips on UKMoths!
