Nest Box Lighting for Colour Video Camera (1 Viewer)

I want to build a nest box with a mini colour video camera inside. My present setup uses a mini b/w camera with infra red lighting, but the colour camera will need artificial visible light. Any ideas on the type and power of lights to use as I do not want to disturb or over heat the box? I think the camera works at around 1 lux min but more light would be better.
Brett.

Brett - the bulbs in our boxes are 12v, 1.5w. They are little screw in pea bulbs. Our website shows the set-up, and our diary over the last 3 seasons - do get in touch with us if you would like to ask any more questions. Be warned - it can be very time consuming if you put as much detail in the diaries as we have, and the empty nest syndome after the birds have flown takes some time to recover from.
