BBC Springwatch needs you! (1 Viewer)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

I am Kiri - a researcher working for 'Springwatch' a BBC British wildlife series. We are looking to find amateur naturalists who have devoted their lives to study and observing British wildlife. Do you have a unique or inspiring story to tell us about your obsession? Read more on our blog via this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/xexexexex...ingwatch.shtml

or e-mail us on [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you!

Kiri

Perhaps this is the wrong place to do it but can I make a plea for springwatch to be less about the people (in particular the egos of the presenters) and more about the wildlife. I would like as many nest cameras, wildlife videos and time on the wildlife as possible. In the last two series, far too much time was spent with just the presenters.

I echo your view. There is also a tendency to announce at the start of the program what is coming in the remainder of the program, and then to repeat at each juncture. If not enough material is available they should shorten the program.

I think springwatch is just fine as it is,yes it is a nature programme but the presenters just add to the programme and without them presenting the programme the way they do,I feel that many people who are not as well informed on the subjects as many of us in here, would simply not watch the programme, let's not forget it's prime time tv and aimed at a very wide audience and not just specialists

I don't know if it's at every Tesco but my friends brother who works at a Tesco says there is a Springwatch Stall and if you sign up you get a few goodies what I don't know.
