Looks Whimbrel to me apart from the beak to curved? Apologies another bad photo

Looks okay for Whimbrel to me, including the bill (straight then curved at the end).

Argreed on Whimbrel. That "kink" in the bill is pretty distinctive. Like Uri Gellar has touched the tip of a Curlew's bill... Check the head pattern also for Whimbrel... well marked...
