Hi

Thanks for previous advice, I decided to buy the Nikon Coolpix P900, I'm now learning my way round it. I recently took a trip to the RSPB Titchwell Marsh nature reserve, which I enjoyed. As a newbie I'm struggling to ID the attached photo i took if someone could please help me out. Sorry in advance if I posted this in the wrong place.

Hello,
your bird is a 1 cy Shellduck. It was hatched this year and differs from an adult in lack of orange-buffish undertail-coverts, lack of brown stripe across breast and pattern of the head
