The buzzard is much paler than the common buzzards I'm used to, is this likely a migrant from Eastern Europe? Similarly the falcon looked a little small and had a very direct flight pattern, but I think it is just a common kestrel?

Yep, Common Buzzard and Common Kestrel.

Buzzards are incredibly variable; while they are a bit paler on average in warmer, drier regions (Gloger's Rule) like Eastern Europe, it could just as easily be a local bird.
