Birder helped confused Construction Workers (1 Viewer)

Hello,

So, I was told by my father that while he was helping a customer on a Construction site, a lot of workers spotted a "Large 4 foot bird with a fat neck." No one on the work site could identify it.

Being a member of the Golden Eagle Audubon Society, I sprang into action and went over with my dad today to investigate, (With permission, of course.)

I spotted the bird, and I got a photo.

This large bird they spotted was actually a Wild Turkey. It was interesting that it was in the middle of town. I did NOT expect to see that.

So, in a nutshell, I helped them find out what it was.

That was my day!
