Hello, My name is Richard and am a late-comer to birding. I have spent many years with walking as my main interest and used photography to record my walks. Wildlife and particularly birds have always featured in photos when they remain still long enough. With age my walking has become shorter distances and photography more prominent. I joined WMBC and have become more serious about photographing birds. I am initially interested in accessing bird sites within Staffordshire and becoming familiar with them. Any help on Alrewas Gravel pits and King Bromley Gravel pits would be appreciated.

Hi Richard and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

Sorry, I don't know about the two gravel pits you have mentioned, but we do have information about quite a few reserves in Staffordshire in our Opus articles. You can access them here.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.
