Black Tern's seen and photographed at Marshside Southport today 11/05/2016. I doubt if they will be there long.

Hi Chris,

Do you happen to know if any of the Black Terns are still around the area? I think there was some talk of a pair hanging round Mere Sands Wood. Would like to catch up with them during my week off as they're a gap in my Lancs county list.

Afternoon Simon, I do not honestly know. I was at Marshside on Monday and there was no sign of them there. I would imagine that they will have gone further North by now.

Went to Mere Sands Wood LWT today - as expected, no sign of Black Terns, just a couple of Common.
