Photographed this Gull Yesterday morning in a marine marsh in Brooklyn N.Y.

Any help appreciated!

First Year? Second? Third? Had a black ring around the very end of his beak?

I would suspect second or third, but I think the gull experts should take over from here. I'm not there yet.

third calendar year (means the bird is one and a half year old).
