Not easy from the photos but I think it is a pygmy shrew.

I thought the same on colouration and fatness of tail, though the measurement seems a bit oversize for Pygmy Shrew, hence my lack of answer to this point!

I thought it was too big too, but seems length and tail ratio good? Worried about the digit id - is it a thumb or a pinky? - looks a bit small for a thumb which doesn't help.
