1 I'd agree with.
2 I'm crap at Pugs so better wait for an expert
3. To my inexperienced eye it doesn't look like a Poplar Grey which should have pale patches on the lower half of the wing. There are noticeable black streaks on the inner wing at the top and bottom which makes me think of one of the Daggers or Light Knot Grass.

Hope that helps a little. Hopefully someone more experienced will be able to sort you out in due course.
