Hello from Coquitlam,BC,Canada.
I was just looking online to help identify a hawk I saw recently and found this site. I'm new to birding but have been a hobby shooter for a while. The challenge of getting a good bird shot is what got me going in the first place and then I realized I need to be able to put a name to the birds I captured. I currently have a Canon T2i and a 75-300IS lens as well as an 18-200IS. I bike lots so these fit into a compact case easily carried while biking. I would like either a Canon 100-400 or Sigma 50-500 longer lens for when I am on foot. I have already read some photo tip postings that answered some questions I had about obtaining the best shots. I look forward to expanding my bird knowledge and getting even better photos.
Bob
PS
I'm attaching a pic of the (Coopers Hawk?)
